Dimapur district administration, Aoyimkum village council and Senjum village council in a meeting Tuesday at Dimapur DC’s conference hall, resolved the impasse that cropped up on September 18.
Talking to Nagaland Post, ADC-I Dimapur, Sedevikho Khro said at the meeting, both the villages pledged to live peacefully as neighbours and signed a ‘good behaviour bond’ in the presence of the district administration and Naga Council.Meanwhile, DIPR reports said that both the villages were made to sign good behavior bond for a period of one year, which may be extended from time to time.
The two villages also agreed upon that they will be liable to pay a sum of Rs. 10 lakh in case of violation of the bond.
