J. Toshimenla Longkumer is winner of Kids Voice 2011

Kids Voice final competition 2011 was held on October 16 at Changtongya town B Church, organised by Christian Education department Changtongya Town Baptist Church Arogo.

The programme was chaired by Akumlila Jamir CE Director CTBA with T. Aliba Imchen Associate Pastor CTBA as the resource person.

Speaking on the occasion, he said God has given every one different talents and singing was one of them. He further encouraged all the participants to seek God’s blessing while utilising their talents, and reminded that God blesses those who obeys and listen to His word and trusts in Him with faith.

Akumlila said the first audition of 2011 was held on August 8 with 14 kids, out of which, 11 were selected for the second audition held on July 6 while 5 were selected at the 3rd audition on August 17 for the finals on October 16. 

J. Toshimenla Longkumer, 10 years, daughter of Imkongsanen Longkumer of Changtongya Yenisen village residing at Medical ward Changtongya town was declared the winner of Kids Voice 2011 competition.
The judges were Narola Imchen Matsüng Longkumer and Wati Longkumer.

Vote of thanks was delivered by Akumlila during which she thanked the judges and all the participants and their parents for their support. She also thanked the Church for providing such a platform to the kids to explore their talents.

The prizes were distributed by Narola Tsudir while invocation was pronounced by R. Asangla Longkumer. The programme started with a special song ‘Heal the World’ by all the participants.
