With an aim to disseminate information to all beneficiaries and its allied departments pertaining to centrally sponsored schemes implemented in Dimapur, the department of land resources, (DoLR)Dimapur launched a quarterly newsletter named ‘the Luminaire’.
The 12 page newsletter was officially released on Tuesday at the district planning development board meeting held at DCs complex, Dimapur.
A total number of 70 copies were distributed to all departmental heads, NGOs and other departmental representatives. The newsletter was earlier published and distributed in the second week of September at the directorate, Kohima.
District project officer Hekato in a press release stated that DoLR has been functioning as the project implementing agency for centrally sponsored schemens under the ministry of rural development, government of India.
The department is presently undertaking integrated watershed management programme in the district which aims to alleviate the economic condition of the people in rural areas.
The DPO has sought cooperation from all district administration NGO, agri and allied departments, beneficiaries in the district to successfully implement the project for the development and up-liftment of the people in the district.
The newsletter contains information on various projects, upcoming activities and reports of activities undertaken indifferent parts of the state.
