Log drum house dedicated at Unger village

Kosasanger Telongjem, Unger has dedicated a log drum house to the citizens of the village.
Earlier, convener of fund raising cum construction committee Limaakum Jamir, gave a brief report of the log drum house construction and thanked the project director and his colleagues of DRDA Mokokchung and special officer to chief minister Nagaland for providing financial assistance towards the construction.

It may be mentioned here that the log drum was first installed in the year 1964 by the then Mejensanger Putu and this year, the Kosasanger Telongjem reconstructed it as a preparatory sign for shouldering the new generation responsibility for governing the Unger village for the next 30 years which will be known as Kosasanger Putu. 

It maybe mentioned that, these historic events of Kosasanger Putu taking over the reign from present Mopungsanger Putu would take place on October 27.

Earlier, dedication prayer was pronounced by pastor, O Lima Jamir.
The programme was chaired by Moa Longkumer, welcome address by Limasangwa, president, Unger Kosasanger Union, and a short speech was delivered by A. wati jamir, Village Council Chairman Unger.
