National Student Union of India (NSUI) Dimapur unit has questioned the education department and the DAN government on the inflated figure in the SIT report.
NSUI stated that instead of solving “the issue,” of the Aggrieved Teacher’s Association of Nagaland, the officials of the department especially dealing with “the issue” were producing another bogus group as proved in the July 11 result publication.
NSUI further stated that the new entry which was not enlisted in any group of SIT was published in a local daily on January 25, 2010 and that more than 400 figures were enlisted as double and triple in figures.
NSUI president Khrozote Kapfo in a press release stated that the department should forward the detailed list of double and triple enlistment with the entry for the deletion and resolve the issue of affected teachers on or before November 30 basing on the SIT list. Failing which, NSUI said it would stand for delivering justice with ATAN.
