Eastern Naga Students’ Federation (ENSF) requests NPSC exam centre at Tsg

Eastern Naga Students’ Federation (ENSF) has requested the chairman Nagaland Public Service Commission (NPSC) to “immediately allot” one examination centre at Tuensang as state public service aspirants from the region have increased manifold in the past few years.
The request signed by ENSF general secretary Changsang Soted dated November 23 said that the allotment of the centre would benefit students from eastern Nagaland districts including Mon, Kiphire and Longleng.
According to ENSF, this would “boost the morale and spirit” of poor aspirants who were not able to come to either Kohima or Dimapur centres for NPSC examinations due to “financial constraints”.
The student organisation has assured NPSC of “all necessary co-operation and logistic support” if the commission addressed the “genuine grievances” faced by students from eastern Nagaland. ENSF also noted that the increase in the number of state public service aspirants and candidates for the NPSC open competitive recruitment from eastern Nagaland was a “positive” indicator of “growth and development” in the region.
