SBI’s 64th ATM at Chumukedima

The 64th ATM of SBI was inaugurated by K .Kire (IPS), DGP  at 13th IRB Head Quarter, Chumukedima, Dimapur, Friday in the presence of A.K.Das, Regional Manager, SBI Regional Business Office(RBO), Dimapur, Nagaland;  S. T. Sangtam, ADG and other senior officers from Nagaland Police and SBI.

K.Kire thanked SBI for installing the ATM for the convenience of NAP/IRB/NP, especially the Mahila Battalion, family members of the Police and for the public residing around the camp. He advised the Jawans to save money for themselves and for the family and withdraw from ATM only needed when and not to hoard money in their pocket.

Stating that Nagas, including himself were not good at saving money and the tendency to borrow was more in Naga society, Kire advised them to utilize the services of the banks judiciously and take care of the ATM as their own.

A. K. Das, thanked Nagaland Police and its top brasses for their co-operation for the last many years since SBI came into being in 1965.

A press release issued by regional manager SBI, RBO Dimapur stated that 64th ATM at 13th IRB Chumukedima was a token of good gesture to the Police for their selfless services to the people in the State. ATMs are already installed in Police HQ and other places and more will be considered as per requirement.

For different financial advisory services, SBI Staff is ready to come to their camps and give the best product of savings and loans to police personnel in the state, stated regional manager.
