Agriculture Technology Management Agency (ATMA) Kohima district went for an educational exposure tour to Assam Agriculture University (AAU) Jorhat from December 18 to 22.
The team visited various experimental farms at the university where scientific method of cultivation were exposed to the field functionaries.
Various improved indigenously developed tools and implements which were feasible in hilly area farming were demonstrated to the farmers.
The team also visited Kazinranga National Reserve Forest. Altogether ten ATMA functionaries and seven farmers attended the tour programme.
