Government doing its best for educational development: Imchen

Home minister Imkong L. Imchen on February 28 said government was doing its best to bring about changes especially in the educational system and therefore called upon every individual to support and take responsibilities in every possible ways to lead the society forward in this competitive world.

He was speaking as the chief guest at the inauguration of newly upgraded Government High School Mangmetong.
Imkong called upon the staff, village councils and villagers to give their best by dedicating themselves towards the upliftment of the school.

Short speeches were also delivered by DEO Mokokchung, A. Mayang, Y. Lanu Imchen (Rtd.) DEO, and chairman village council, Mangmetong, Tali Tzudir.

The function was attended by different dignitaries, NPF Workers and members from different societies. Earlier, in the programme, head master of the School, Lima Aier delivered the welcome address.
