Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha), H. Khekiho Zhimomi reminded GBs of their responsibility to lead the people towards peace and development of the society. He said this while addressing the gathering as chief guest during the inaugural programme of office building of Khaghaboto Kukami Kuqhakulu (KKK) on March 3.
He called on the GBs to retrospect themselves on their stand at this crucial juncture where the world was marching ahead in prosperity and urged them to support the government to bring all round development to the people.
“Government is there to help the public but GBs should show eagerness to avail such facilities”, he said.
Also speaking on the occasion, H.K. Zhimomi, speaker, Naga Hoho exhorted the GBs and stated that unity and well being of a community/society depended on the GBs. GBs of the area have lauded Jacob I. Zhimomi for his efforts in construction the office building. Rev. N. Yehoto Chishi, pastor Ghonivi Baptist Church offered dedicatory prayer of the building.
