In his welcome address Dr B C Deka, Joint Director, Nagaland Centre congratulated her for bringing such prestigious national award for the state and requested all the farmers to come forward and follow her footprints to become self sufficient in agricultural production.
Misao, in her brief address acknowledged the real time assistance provided by ICAR Nagaland Centre, Dept. of Horticulture (Govt. of Nagaland), CIH Medziphema, NABARD and Nandi Foundation which helped her to win this national award.
To commemorate her achievements as well as to celebrate ‘Farmers Innovation Day’ a training was organized at KVK Dimapur to train 33 farmers from Dimapur, Kohima, Phek, Wokha and Mokokchung districts on “Entrepreneurship development through Floriculture and Landscaping”.

Dr Aier emphasized on increasing export of the flowers and growth of the flower industries in these days. Dr.Rajkhowa requested the scientists of ICAR to find out the potentiality of some local flowers as a possible potential component of ornamental gardening in Nagaland as well as outside of the state.
