Chakhesang Hoho Kohima has condemned the shooting by ‘FGN capt’ Vechizo of Yorüba village under Phek district on Aketo Sumi on April 7 at PR Hill Kohima.
The Hoho president Zhonyi in a press release stated that such “arbitrary act” was not only an “insult” to the victim but to the Nagas when the civil societies were working hard to bring peace. The Hoho also appealed to the competent authority to nab the culprit at the earliest and award a befitting punishment.
PR hill traders’ union: PR hill traders’ union has condemned the shooting incident by FGN cadres at PR hill colony near St. Mary’s Nursing home on April 7.
In the press release, the union said the incident has disturbed the peace and tranquility of the area, creating tension and fear psychosis on the business community and residents of PR hill colony.
The union also resolved to co-operate and support any initiative taken to bring back normalcy, and at the same time, appealed to resist any kind of anti-social elements.
The union also reaffirmed its support to AYO, PR hill Panchayat, PR hill youth organization and other organization in their endeavors for the cause of peace and harmony.
