The Members of Nagaland Open Online Barter or Sell (NOOBS) and The Naga Blog (TNB), after a blogger posted pictures on the group of the maternity ward (district hospital, Dimapur), decided to take their own initiative of making a difference for the maternity ward instead of blaming the government for the pathetic conditions of the wards.
The members of both the group started a campaign ‘Lets make a difference for the little ones’.
The overall response have been good and even people non-internet users after seeing the news in local papers donated for the cause, added the members.
The last date for donating is April 13, 5pm; while on April 14, the members of both Nagaland Open Online Barter or Sell (NOOBS) and The Naga Blog (TNB) along with a group of friends and well wishers will gather at the maternity ward (district hospital, Dimapur), at 9am and start cleaning and repaint the ward,cleaning the toilets and surroundings of the maternity ward and do something about the elerticity that is supplied to the ward.
