Eleutheros Christian Society (ECS) Tuensang, with a hope for the common aspiration of the people in the rural areas conducted a health screening camp at Hakchang, Sangsangnyu, Sangchen, Momching, Saoshou and Tuensang on April 16 and 17.
Altogether, 415 rural patients were treated for various ailments, out of which, 160 patients were registered from Tuensang, Hakchang 147, Sangsangnyu 72, Sangchen, Momching and Saoshou 36.
Fifty patients suffering from different diseases were referred to ECS Hospital for further surgery or other related treatment. 80% of the patients underwent surgery while the rest were treated. Dr. George, Dr. Robin, Dr. Kito (surgeons) Dr. Bendang (gyneanegologist) along with six other staff assisted the camp.
