NSCN (K) Phom region has clarified the news item that appeared in the local dailies on April 14 on the heading ‘Phom region NSCN (K) en-bloc joins GPRN/NSCN’ issued by Dy. Kilonser A. Chuba.
Terming the release as baseless, NSCN (K) Phom region clarified that they still stood firm under NSCN/GPRN led by S.S Khaplang.
The members include Chungpong Phom CCM hailing from Kangching Village; Pamong Phom Razou Peyu hailing from Tangha Village; Thutha Phom, Leacy hailing from Auching Village; Bakang Phom, PRO hailing from Kangching Village; Leinyak Phom, Razou peyu hailing from Shakshi; Pamgau Phom, Region members, hailing Orangkong Village; Nokling Phom, Razou peyu, hailing from Hukphang Village; Chungpong Nganchong Phom, RCM, hailing from Bhumnyu Village; Meipong Phom, Leacy hailing form Auching Village; Chingak Phom, Region Member hailing from Kangching Village; Lieus Yongkai Phom from Shakshi Village; Lieus Bahung Phom from Anakai Village; 2nd Lieus Keiba Phom from Shakshi Village; 2nd Lieus Longlang Phom from Pongching Village; Smaj Pongyan Phom from Bhumnyu Village; Sgt. Shahluk Phom from Yongnyah Village; Corporal Aphak Phom from Yongphang Village.
The NSCN (K) Phom region further said that they would not be affected by merging of few “money mongers” to GPRN/NSCN for which the general public should not misunderstand with the baseless news item.
The release further stated “Lieut. Tongpang has been terminated from national service in the month of September 2011 and Bendang being stated as PS is a mere public, we the Phom region are still under the dynamic leadership of SS Khaplang NSCN/GPRN”.
