Government polytechnic Kohima (GPK) organized its 5th end term fashion show under the theme “Enigmas in Sync” hosted by the department of fashion technology on Thursday evening.
Speaking as the chief guest, Athili Kathapri, director, technical education said having a department of fashion technology in Kohima was a privilege for fashion lovers and appreciated the department for organizing the programme as it would at as a platform for talented people.
Maintaining that the institution has produced many good students at the national level, the director encouraged the department not to be discouraged by the number of students but to take it as a challenge in producing quality students.
The show was divided into 6 parts called strings ‘Bling Bling it on’ designed by Regina Chakrünuo, ‘ My world My virtue’ show designed by Chubanaro, ‘Sheerly Groovy’ by Tzudinaro, ‘Verve’ by Tisenlo,.
‘The small faces’ by Alemzungla Ozukum and ‘Serene beauty’ by Keneisenuo. Christopher performed a break dance called “Bridge”. The chief guest also gave away the best construction prize to Regina Chakrünuo, best creativity prize to Chubanaro and best design prize to Keneisenuo.
