Western Sumi Students’ Union (WSSU) has condemned the shooting incident at Zunheboto town on May 29 between the warring factions NSCN (K) and GPRN/NSCN that claimed one life and injured others.
A statement issued by WSSU general secretary Abeto Swu, while supporting the resolution adopted during the rally in against the killing of innocent student, also appealed to the “freedom fighters” to stop hunting each other and shooting at public places, adding “Creating fear psychosis within ourselves is a clear threat and act on anti Nationalism which will bring no solution to the Nagas”.
