NSCN (I-M) Thursday warned Zeliangrong United Front (ZUF) that it would “spare no bullets” if ZUF in connivance with Assam Rifles (AR) and other anti-Naga forces tried to play “dirty” with Naga issue.
In a statement, NSCN (I-M) MIP said that ZUF had come into existence like an “illegitimate child” and it was struggling to a proper foothold.
Stating that ZUF as a child born of illicit relationship, NSCN (I-M) asserted that it could never legitimize its rightful place in the Naga family.
The statement said that the stigma of “anti-Naga” would forever remain tagged to ZUF’s name. Pointing out that no matter how desperate ZUF tries by shouting “Ringtelo Zelianglong”, MIP stated that its action would never come in conformity with Naga interest.
It added that “anti-Naga government agencies” like AR was now finding the ZUF as a potential partner to go against Naga political interest by targeting NSCN, the only mandated Naga political organization to settle the Naga political conflict with the Government of India.
