Parliamentary Secretary RD & REPA, S. Pangnyu Phom inaugurated the office building cum conference hall, RD block Medziphema on June 29.
Pangnyu congratulated BDO and staff for constructing the new building and reminded that the building belonged to all 24 villages under RD block Medziphema.
He urged the villagers to cooperate with the village leaders, VDB’s and government and work together to bring about development in their areas. He also encouraged VDBs and all societies under Medziphema block to become role models for other RD blocks in Nagaland.
Concluding his speech, he said the BDO building would be a blessing to the 24 villages under RD Block Medziphema.
Earlier, invocation was pronounced by Anungba, Pastor, Medziphema town Baptist church and vote of thanks by Rokonicha ex minister.
Director, RD Metsubo Jamir also spoke on the occasion while DPO, DRDA Dimapur, Taliyanger gave a brief report on building construction.
A special song was presented by BKK church Medziphema village.
The programme was chaired by Project Director, DRDA, Dimapur Visasolie Lhoungu.
