Co-operative society training begins in Zunheboto

Three-day training programme on Cooperative Society began at Zunheboto on July 3 with joint ARC Kohima, Imtinungba as the special guest.

Presiding over the programme, Imtinungba said the plan of imparting the training to the cooperative society was to uplift the socio-economic condition of the people through better utilization of time, money and materials.

He further said education, training and information were the three pre-requirement for improvement of cooperative society.

Earlier, welcome speech was delivered by chief project officer, Kihevi Tuccu which was followed by solicitation of special guest by Zunheboto District Cooperative Society Union.

Around 120 cooperative societies are attending the training. The training is being sponsored by ICDP Zunheboto and financed by NCDC Delhi.
