State cabinet has approved the creation of new posts under District Evaluation Office (DEO) and Fire & emergency services. 84 posts have been created under fire and emergency services and 16 for district evaluation offices in three districts.
According to the minutes of the cabinet meeting held on July 10, the cabinet approved the proposal of the home department for creation of the posts for the new newly created district headquarters – Kiphire, Longleng, Peren including fire station, Chumukedima under the directorate of fire and emergency services.
The names of the posts are station officer – inspector (4 posts), asstt. station officer- sub-inspector (8 posts), leading firemen – ASI (12 posts), firemen/driver – constable (36 posts), clerks (8 posts), sweeper (4 posts), watch room operator (8 posts) and cook/gardener (4 posts).
The cabinet also approved the creation of 16 posts for the District Evaluation Offices (DEO) in Longleng, Kiphire and Peren as proposed by the state planning and coordination department.
The names of the posts are district evaluation officer (3 posts), inspector (1 post), computer-technical (3 posts), LDA-cum-computer operator (3 posts), driver (3 posts) and peon (3 posts).
