Sr. journalist bereaved

Kohima Correspondent of Nagaland Post and former president of Kohima Press Club (KPC), KV Nurumi was bereaved following his wife, Toshilemla’s demise early Tuesday at Naga Hospital Kohima after a brief illness.

After the funeral service, attended by hundreds of mourners held at Nurumi’s residence, the body was later laid to rest at the cemetery near BSF camp, Kohima. Various condolence messages were received for K.V.Nurumi at the passing away of his wife.

GPRN/NSCN MIP: GPRN/NSCN MIP ‘kilonser’ Akato Chophi has expressed ‘disbelief’ at the sudden and untimely demise of Mrs. Toshilemla Nurumi. Chophi in a condolence message described late Toshilemla as a caring wife and conveyed condolences to the bereaved family members.

Chophi also prayed the Almighty to give the family members strength and solace at this hour of grief and also grant eternal peace to the departed soul.

Nagaland Post: In another message, Editor and staff Nagaland Post expressed shock and pain at the untimely demise of Toshilemla in Kohima early Tuesday morning.

Conveying heartfelt condolence to K.V.Nurumi, the Editor and Staff prayed that God almighty would grant strength and  comfort to the bereaved family members at the hour of deep grief  and also prayed that God grant late Toshilemla peace and eternal rest as promised by the Lord Jesus Christ. 

KPC: Kohima Press Club (KPC) expressed deepest condolence at the untimely demise of Mrs. Toshilema Nurumi. KPC president Kopelo Krome and general secretary Vishü Rita Krocha said the club prayed that God to grant solace to the bereaved husband and family.

FoWJoN: Federation of Working Journalist of Nagaland (FoWJoN) said it was shocked to learn about the sudden demise of Mrs. Toshilemla Nurumi. 

FoWJoN convenor Narain B. Sagar in a condolence message said in her demise, the federation has lost a loving and caring sister-in-law. FoWJoN shared its grief and sorrow with the bereaved family members and pray that God will grant the strength and solace at this time of grief.

DPC: Dimapur Press Club (DPC) said it was deeply pained to learn of the demise of
Toshilemla.

Stating words were not enough to comfort the bereaved family in this hour of grief, DPC information and publicity secretary Imkong Walling expressed heartfelt sympathy.
