Organizations condemn vandalism at Diphupar village

NWHD: Naga Women Hoho Dimapur (NWHD) has condemned the act of the three miscreants who vandalized the house of Arenla, chairperson, DNWO, on August 17.

The women hoho in a press release issued by its president, Hukheli T. Wotsa, and general secretary, Liangsi Niumai John, urged right thinking citizens to condemn such act stating that threats and abusing a social/public worker/residence/family members was a serious matter.

It further appealed to the Diphupar Village Council not to remain silent till the culprits were identified and award befitting punishment at the earliest. Meanwhile, NWHD in a separate release congratulated NSCN/GPRN (I-M) UT-I staff for the successful raid conducted at New Market.

Stating that any sort of anti-social element would not be tolerated, the women hoho also appealed to every right thinking citizens to support and cooperate with the NGOs and civil society organizations when such actions are taken up for the purpose of eradicating and eliminating such kind of “unwanted social evil and immoral activities”.

DLH: Diphupar Lotha Hoho (DLH) has condemned the act of the three unidentified miscreants in vandalizing the house of Arenla Jamir, chairperson of Diphupar Naga Women Organization (DNWO) and manhandling her daughter on August 16. DLH appealed to Diphupar Village Council to apprehend the culprits and award befitting punishment .

DCST, CSUD: Dimapur Chungtia Senso Telongjem (DCST) and Chungtia students union Dimapur (CSUD) have condemned the barbaric act of the three miscreants who forcefully entered the private residence of DNWO chairperson, Sentirenla Jamir in her absence on August 18 threatening her of dire consequences and manhandled her daughter.

Both DCST and CSU appealed to the competent authority to book the “law-breakers” and award befitting punishment. DCST has also appreciated DVC, DNWO and DNYO for their prompt and timely intervention and has further appealed to all right thinking citizens and organizations to condemn such acts in the society.
