Kripa Foundation, Nagaland has asked state programme coordinator for Legislators’ Forum on AIDS (LFA) Nagaland, Dr Vinito L Chishi to provide evidence that the foundation and NNP+ Kohima had promoted “stigma and discrimination” or to resign from his office if he failed to do the same.
In a statement, Kripa Foundation, Nagaland director Abou Mere said that it was “unfortunate” that Dr Vinito L Chishi failed to clarify to the public on time the misquotation by SDIO Dimapur instead the state coordinator went on to blame NGOs for rebuttal to the misquoted statement. Kripa Foundation, Nagaland was reacting to LFA state coordinator’s statement which said that the foundation and NNP+ Kohima have promoted stigma and discrimination by their “impulsive and irrational emotional outbursts”.
