District review meeting of Chief Medical Officers (CMOs) and Medical Superintendents (MSs) of all districts was held on September 18 with Kuzholuzo minister for health and family welfare at PMTI.
Addressing the meeting, Azo said “Health is life; prescription alone is not enough but to live, eat, sleep work right is more important”. He applauded the department for its achievement stating the reason behind the success and achievements of the department in past years was because of “unity and coordination”.
Azo encouraged people to continue in disseminating information, awareness, and improve health care delivery system.
In his speech, Sentiyanger Imchen IAS, commissioner and secretary H&FW in his speech called upon all district CMOs, MSs and programme officers to improve health care delivery system through convergence, achieve targets in a much better way and to run all programmes parallel.
He emphasized on providing a “basket of services” by using available resources in a combined manner during village health and nutrition day.
In the meeting, vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Khanlo Magh, additional director and mission director NRHM, Dr. K. Yangerlemla principal director health and family welfare chaired the meeting and welcomed the members. The meeting was followed by presentation from all districts in the second session.
According to state IEC bureau, the meeting was attended by CMOs, MSs, directors, additional directors, all state programme officers and host of officers of the department.
