Deputy commissioner, Mon Angau I Thou on Thursday called upon VDBs & VCCs to implement all government schemes as per policies and guidelines at the grass root level for transparency and accountability.

She was addressing the VDBs & VCCs at the two-day refresher course on BRGF at council hall, Mon.

Stressing on awareness about the policies and programmes of the government, she urged the participants to disseminate the information imparted by the resource persons to the masses back in their respective villages.

She also urged the department to dispatch the scheme guidelines to all villages and felt the need to publish the guidelines in local language.
