Obtention band wins NSACS Rock + Mon audition

Obtention band won the NSACS Rock+ Mon district audition on Tuesday held at Indoor Stadium, Mon .
Sashi of Mon Users Network shared about his life and how he overcame addiction and was living a stable life. He also told the youth that “prevention is the only cure.”

Earlier in the morning, Dr. Rose – State Program Officer for HIV and TB interacted with the students of Govt. Higher Secondary School. He told the students that “unless we take care of ourselves, we cannot achieve our dreams.”

The 4th Phase of Multi-Media Campaign (MMC) kick-started on Mon for promoting awareness, compassion, education and support for the issue of HIV & AIDS and culminate at Dimapur on November 3. 

The music campaign for 2012 is held under the banner and slogan Rock Plus – “Lets beat it”.
The vision of the campaign is to spread awareness of HIV & AIDS among the youth through the music and personal interaction, promote the message of prevention as the only cure to halt the spread of HIV & AIDS.

The NSCAS Rock Plus will next move to Longleng where an audition is scheduled for October 11.
