To inculcate and disseminate healthy lifestyle among the youth, District Health Society, Mokokchung organized a cleanliness drive on October 13 at Imkongliba Memorial District Hospital, Mokokchung.
Altogether, 28 Adolescent Club (AC) members comprising of students and school drop-outs participated in the cleanliness drive.
The club members also donated spades, machetes and brooms to the hospital.
IEC staff, Mokokchung also took part in the cleanliness drive.
It maybe mentioned that Adolescent Club was formed in 2011 with the initiative of IEC, department of health family welfare.
Under the banner of ‘Being young is our power’, the club has been actively participating in various health related activities.
