Nagaland governor Nikhil Kumar has extended his greetings to the Muslim community on the occassion of Id-ul-Zuha. In his message, Nikhil said it was the time to reflect on the year gone by to look at their challenges and achievements and to also express gratitude on their blessings, the gift of life and good health.
He said universal teachings of love, kindness and compassion of Prophet Muhammad “inspires and guides” for universal brotherhood and peace. Governor prayed that Prophet’s message “unite us all on the path of peace and harmony… friendship and forgiveness among the people of the state.”
Kma, Dimapur to observe Idd Namaj: Kohima Masjid would observe Id-Uz-Juha Namaz (mass prayer) on October 27, 9 am at 19th Assam Rifles ground Kohima, the Pesh Imam of Kohima Masjid. The Masjid would be conducted by Moulana Belal Ahmed.
In a release, Kohima Masjid expressed gratitude to 19 AR, Kohima for providing facilities. Meanwhile, Idd-ul-Azha Namaj in Dimapur would be observed on October 27, 8 a.m. at Dimapur Idgah prayer ground, led by Maulana Md. Fuzail Ahmed. Idgah committee general secretary, A.K Tapadar while wishing all a happy Idd requested all to cooperate with committee during the Idd Namaj.
