Bijaya Sammellan, a socio-religious and cultural programme organized by Bengali Dimapur Hindu Community (BDHC) was celebrated on November 4 at Dimapur Durga Mandir hall in a grand manner.
Swami Chinmayanandaji Maharaj inaugurated the programme, and former DMC Chairman Tovihoto H Ayemi and Lipok Pongen, former DMC Member were the special guests.
Others guests and speakers include Basu Damani, Jagadamba Mall, Santosh Kr Shastriji, Alok Pareskh secretary HSS, Religious leaders from Marwari, Nepali, Bihari, Kachari, Pujak Samaj and President of all Durgapuja committee (celebrated in Dimapur) including Tingkao Ragwang Chapriak (a tribal Hindu Community).
Around 50 artistes participated in the event in different category and were awarded for their performance. Tovihoto Aye encouraged the gathering with positive thoughts and stressed on protection of religious rights.Lipok Pongen assured his support and cooperation in all kinds of developmental works for the benefit of society.
