MCC&I directs shops to ‘illuminate’

Mokokchung Chamber of Commerce and Industries (MCCI) has requested its members to clean up their respective shop premises and put up stars/colorful decorative lights to illuminate their shops within last week of November in view of the ensuing silver jubilee celebration.

A press note issued by Maniraj Rai, secretary information and publicity said the theme for the silver jubilee celebration has been coined as ‘Brighter Mokokchung’ and therefore, as decided in the executive meeting of Mokokchung Chamber of Commerce and Industries , shop keepers are asked to illuminate the whole town area including Sewak gate, Yimyu to Sungkomen ward with colorful lights heralding the beginning of brighter and prosperous Mokokchung ahead.
