One day hands-on training programme on ‘mushroom cultivation’ was organized by ICAR Nagaland Centre at Lampong Sheanghah village, Mon sponsored by National Agricultural Innovation Project (NAIP) component III.
The programme was graced by presence of Longang Konyak, G.B., Tuimei village; Chingngam Konyak, Chairman, Village council, Lampong Shenghah village; N.C. Borah, Technical officer of ICAR; Joseph Kikon, Technical officer of ICAR, Mushroom Section and M. Krose, Research Associate, NAIP.
29 participants attended this training representing Lampong Sheanghah, Phuktong and Tuimei village, Mon selected on the basis of their interest in mushroom cultivation.
The trainees gained the knowledge of low cost organic mushroom cultivation through poly bag method.
