VLNRP on forest and its products

New Peren Village Land and Natural Resources Protection (VLNRP) committee on behalf of its villagers has reminded both government and social set up that the new district headquarter was being developed for the people of the district keeping in mind the futuristic advantages of people. 

VLNRP committee in a press statement issued by its convener, Namrengong Sephe, and secretary, Bengau Elu noted that the forest and its product in district were rampantly destroyed by “unscrupulous” people for their vested self interest. In this regard, the committee reminded that inaction of the government towards the effect should not be considered “jungle law” and would treat the notification as final and binding. VLNRP stated all issues should be solely referred to the jurisdiction of New Peren village beyond which no authority of mediation would be entertained.
