MCK students tour Meghalaya

Altogether 28 students of B.Sc II & III yr (Honours), Model Christian College, Kohima, led by Assistant Professors of the College, Dr. Nungshikokla Jamir, Dr. Bendangkokba and Nengpilhing Singson went on study tour to Meghalaya from December 11-15.

The outstation tour was undertaken for the partial fulfillment of Bachelor of Science (Hon) Degree under Nagaland University. The team visited Department of Botany and Zoology, N.E.H.U., Shillong and met with research scholars working in different fields of research and interacted with them which were thoroughly educational.

The team also visited Jowai and Cherrapunjee to study its flora and fauna of the area. The team incharge expresses their gratefulness to the Managing Director Mr. S.P. Francis, Principal in-charge Anthony V. Richa and all the parents/Guardians for their co-operation, prayers and support.

An information bulletin informed that Model Christian College a Science College, was started in the year 2007 and completed four successful batches contributing to the requirements of science education in higher learning in the state.
