The week in fashion: HM style round-up

It’s been an interesting week on the red carpet – Peaches Geldof turned up at an event looking like she had a completely new face yet all the fashion world wanted to talk about was Jennifer Lawrence revealing a bit of sheer underlayering.

Yep, there was no ripping of her Dior Couture dress at the Screen Actors Guild Awards, just a bit of in-built petticoat on display for a few second.

That’s as scandalous as it gets this week we’re afraid, although there were a few grumbles about Anne Hathaway’s Erdem frock – on the flipside Gemma Arterton wore a gown by the same designer and looked amazing.

Elsewhere, we have Rooney Mara (ROONEY!) in Alexander McQueen, Cate Blanchett in Armani Prive, Marion Cotillard in Dior and loadsnloads of others.
