Dimasa Public Organization, Nagaland (DPON) has extended support to the campaign for clean election launched by Nagaland Baptist Church Council (NBCC). DPON president, K. Naben appealed to the contesting parties to desist from using alcoholic drinks during election campaign so as to create peaceful atmosphere for free and fair election.
DPON expressed the need to avoid intimidation, late night campaign and joints by the contesting parties and further appealed to the public especially of Dimapur III constituency to elect the best candidate who can be handy for all round development and not give in to money power.
