State government has delegated all deputy commissioners & district election officers of Nagaland to act on behalf of the state government for requisitioning of vehicles, premises etc for the conduct of Election to the 12th Nagaland Legislative Assembly, 2013.
Any vehicle, premises etc belonging to private person or institution/organisation shall be entitled for compensation under Sec. 161 of the R.P. Act of 1951.
General observers during the coming General Election to Nagaland Legislative Assembly for Kohima district would be available at the Observer’s room, ground floor, office of deputy commissioner and district election officer, Kohima from 4 p.m to 5 p.m from February 7. DIMAPUR: Superintendent of police, Dimapur, V.Z Angami, has informed that Jitender, police observer, for all the five A/Cs under Dimapur district will be available for any information pertaining to the ensuing assembly election at 9436275034.SP, Dimapur, in a press release has also informed that public interview with the police observer would be held every day between 3 p.m to 5 p.m at Circuit House, Dimapur.
Candidates Account Register Inspection (CARII) fixed by E.O are Ghaspani-I and II on February 10, Dimapur-I, II and III (February 11), Ghaspani-I and II (February 14), Dimapur-I, II and III (February 15), Ghaspani-I and II (February 19), and Dimapur-I, II and III (February 20).All candidates/their accounting agents are required to bring their candidates expenditure register without fail for inspection by the expenditure observer.
The inspection will be held at D.C’s conference hall, at 10.am, in the presence of returning officer while there would also be a briefing cum training for all the candidates/expenditure agents on February 9, 4 p.m at DC’s conference hall.
Expenditure observer for Dimapur district is Debasis Roy, IRS, (Phone No. 9436274931) and he would be available for public interview from February 10 onwards between 9 a.m to 10 a.m at Circuit House, Dimapur.
MOKOKCHUNG: Allotment of Election Symbol to the contesting candidates in respect of Mokokchung district will be taken up in the DC’s conference hall Mokokchung on February 9 at 3:20 p.m. DC & DEO Mokokchung Murohu Chotso informed all the contesting candidates to attend.
Meanwhile, all three general observers for the ensuing General Election to the Nagaland Legislative Assembly for Mokokchung district arrived in Mokokchung.
The three observers are as follow:M.Balaji, IAS, General Observer for 21, 22 and 24 A/Cs (Contact No. 9436275002), Kalipada Das, IAS, for 23, 25, 26, and 27 A/Cs (Contact No. 9436275006) and Mohan K.Thombre, IAS, for 28, 29, and 30 A/Cs. (Contact No. 9436275007). DC & DEO, Mokokchung, Moruho Chotso has appointed Liaison Officer one each for the General Observers.

All three general observers are now putting up at Commissioner’s Rest House and any political parties who want to meet them can do so at the Deputy Commissioner’s Conference Hall from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. or they can contact through mobile.
