Youth, council against setting up youth camps

PBNYO: Purana Bazar Naga Youth Organization (PBNYO) in a consultation meeting has resolved not to allow any political parties to set up youth camps within its jurisdiction.

In a press release issued by its president, Bokato Aye said that the organization has resolved not to allow any “outsiders” in the polling day and warned that if any unwanted situation arose due to manipulation created by person(s), the individual and the intending candidate would be solely held responsible and the same would be treated as an “insult, challenge” towards the resolution adopted by the organization.

NUVC: Naga United Village Council (NUVC) has resolved to ban any political parties from setting up youth camp within its jurisdiction and not to allow any “outsiders” during the polling day.

Extending its support to NBCC campaign for clean election, the council in a press note issued by its secretary Deo Krome also reaffirmed its resolution to ban use of alcohol and any other intoxicant during the ensuing elections and added that the council would check the inflow and use of alcohol and anti social activities within its jurisdiction.
