Dimapur Manipuri Council (DMC) has condemned horrific incident in which a minor girl was suspected to be raped and murdered on February 18 at Lingrijan, Dimapur, and the dead body found by the locals.
Condemning the incident, council secretary, K.V Meitei, in a press release stated that girls and women have no security everywhere for which it appealed right thinking citizens and public not to spare any culprits who were involved in the incident and should be arrested at the earliest and award befitting punishment at the same time appealed the general public to come forward for more condemnation
AC: Aokong Colony (AC) has strongly condemned the February 18 incident where a 13 year old minor girl was “brutally raped” and murdered at Lingrijan.
Stating that such inhuman and barbaric act should be condemned by all, AC has urged the administration and law enforcing agencies to take immediate steps in nabbing the culprit. Further, AC has also conveyed condolence to the bereaved family members.
TUD: Tangkhul Union Dimapur (TUD) has condemned the “beastly act” of suspected rape and murder of a minor girl on February 18. TUD president L. KASAR said such heinous and gruesome crime has no place in the civilized society. The union urged the authority in-charge to arrest and book the culprit(s) as per law.
