Bayavü Area Panchayat (BAP) Kohima, held an executive body meeting on February 15 in order to maintain peace and harmony within its jurisdiction to follow clean election during the ensuing election session.
BAP at its meeting resolved that no individual /organization would be allowed to misuse the name of the panchayat and stern action would be taken against defaulters.
No outsiders would be allowed to interfere in any manner in the electioneering process within its jurisdiction while youth and women organization have been authorized to supervise and monitor to ensure smooth and peaceful conduct of the election in the area. BAP further lauded NBCC’s clean election drive and resolved to extend full support in its endeavour.
NCMA: Nagaland City Mission Association (NCMA) Dimapur while extending support to NBCC’s ‘Clean election campaign’ has appealed all electorates to exercise their franchise in the right Christian spirit and to abstain from any ugly or untoward incidences.
Calling all to bring change during the ensuing assembly elections through individual efforts, Nagaland City Mission Association asked all to stand together for clean elections without hatred, violence or death.
NBVC: Nepali Basti Village Council (NBVC) has requested all residents for peaceful conduct during the upcoming elections. NBVC also warned outsiders not to disturb the peaceful atmosphere in polling station no. 15, Nepali Basti, Dimapur under 1-Dimapur-I A/C.
