State BJP unit would be organizing a farewell programme for P. Chandrashekar Rao, organizational secretary, Northeast in-charge, on March 19, 3 p.m. at Hotel Saramati Dimapur.
BJP national general secretary and in-charge for Nagaland, Tapir Gao, would also be present for the occasion. Spokesman and general secretary of state BJP, K. James Vizo, in a release requested all concerned party workers to attend the said programme.
He also stated that P. Chandra Shekhar Rao has been elevated to the national level with additional in-charge of Andhra Pradesh.
Stating P. Chandrashekar Rao has been in the north east since the early 2000, the state BJP further appreciated his tireless efforts and contributions towards the uplift and expansion of BJP in the north eastern states, particularly Nagaland.
Meanwhile, party president, Dr. M. Chuba Ao and his colleagues wished P. Chandrashekar Rao the best in his new assignments and future endeavors.
