In view of the Naga Students Federation (NSF) general conference, scheduled to be held in Dimapur from April 24-27, Dimapur Naga Students’ Union (DNSU) has appealed to all the citizens, students, churches and businessmen of Dimapur town and Diphupar to participate in the mass social work in their respective areas on April 20.
In a press release, DNSU president K. Mhachio Lotha stated that social work would begin from 5 a.m. onwards. The union has requested the Dimapur Chamber of Commerce & Industries (DCCI) not to allow the shops to open till mass social work was over.
It also urged Dimapur Municipal Council and Ad-hoc Town Council, East Dimapur to supervise the social work and remove wastes dumped along the roadsides of the city.
Thousands expected at NSF conference: Thousands of delegates are expected to attend the 25th General Conference of the Naga Students Federation to be held at Agri Expo Site Dimapur, from April 24-27, on the theme “Embracing Common Vision.”
In a press release, the media committee of the 25th NSF general conference stated that preparations were underway for a successful conference, which would also witness a host of former leaders of NSF and other student bodies as chief guests and guests of honour.
The 25th NSF General Conference is being hosted by Dimapur Naga Students’ Union (DNSU), a conglomerate of 12 Naga tribal student organisations based in Dimapur.
The NSF has appealed to the citizens of Dimapur, state government, district administration and police, NGOs and all responsible for their cooperation and support towards the success of the general conference.
