Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) Tuensang held its annual Vidyalaya Managing Committee (VMC) meeting Wednesday at the school campus. The meeting discussed several shortcomings and difficulties faced by the school.
The meeting was chaired by deputy commissioner, Tuensang, T.M. Lotha. Later speaking at a cultural programme the DC while lauding JNV Chare said it was a “special institution” despite several problems faced by the school.
While encouraging the teachers, Yanthan urged them to be dedicated and sincere while delivering their duties. He also encouraged students to take it as a privilege to be a Navodaya student and advised them to work harder so as to compete with students of the rest of the country.
The DC also called upon the local authorities to spread awareness among the local people to facilitate speedy development of the Vidyalaya. He also assured to do his best as to resolve “difficulties” of the school.
