Minister for social welfare Kiyanilie Peseyie inaugurated a resting shed constructed by Khrietho Peli No.11, P. Khel, Kohima village at Gaziephe (below BSF camp Kohima) about 15 km away from here Saturday.
Speaking at the inaugural function as chief guest, Peseyie acknowledged the enormous contribution and effort of Khrietho Peli No. 11 in taking the members forward by caring and reasoning each other and also extending their great services to other community.
Minister said the construction of the resting shed would bring the members closer and would benefit the commuters.
Calling upon the members, he said everything was possible through unity and peace and asked them to continue to uphold the spirit of oneness and friendship for successful implementation of its mission.
Peseyie extend his appreciation to the P. Khel Council for announcing its willingness to provide land to the government for developmental activities within its jurisdiction.
Minister appealed to the members to create peaceful environment in the land and to cooperate with the government and avail developmental packages.
Earlier, Khrietho Peli No.11 president Khriesakeso Mere in his presidential address expressed his optimism that passersby through the route would make good use of the shed and take care of it.
Keneingu Rutsa delivered welcome address, Zeneizo Rutsa, Chairman P. Khel Council, Mego-o Mechulho and Kedozolie also spoke on the occasion.
The function was chaired by organizing committee convenor Keneingu Rutsa while vote of thanks was proposed by Menuolhoulie Mechulho. Mentioned may be made here that Khrietho Peli no. 11 has 91 members from different walks of life.
