613 bottles of assorted IMFL seized

District excise during its surprise raids on May 6 and 7 at different pockets at Z.H road, Golaghat Road, and Army Supply Road, Dimapur.

Altogether, 17 persons have been arrested and booked under NLTP Act. Meanwhile, personnel of district excise duty party manning Chumukedima check gate have also seized two vehicles, an Alto and Maruti 800 along with 218 bottles of assorted liquor from three persons. All the accused persons have been penalized under relevant sections of the Act.
