Kripa Foundation tribute to Khris Huire

Kripa Foundation Nagaland, Director and staff has mourned the untimely demise of Khris Huire the chief functionary of the Eureka Life Foundation Phek, and an adviser to the Nagaland Users’ Network (NUN).  Director Kripa Foundation Abou Mere in a releae stated late Khris was a pioneer and a champion social activist in health and rights of marginalized groups in Nagaland. 

“He was selfless in his efforts to mobilize communities (People Who Use Drugs and People Living With HIV) and support the communities rights and its leadership; he built bridges and aimed for unity amongst our communities”, added Mere.

“Lt. Khris Huire was such a kind person, always looking at the positive and encouraging the people around him. We are devastated by his sudden death. He will leave a huge hole in the Nagaland Drug and HIV & AIDS movement especially in Phek District”, further said Mere.

Kripa Foundation further expressed condolences to his wife, family members and Eureka Life Foundation staff and prayed God would grant peace to the departed soul.
