One person reportedly a civilian was shot dead by suspected NSCN cadre(s) in Akuluto town, under Zunheboto district, late Wednesday night.
According to sources, the victim died on the spot, while anotherr civilian was grievously injured. The injured was rushed to the hospital in critical condition, sources added.
The deceased has been identified as one Atoka Assumi son of Vitokhe Assumi of Litami village. He was reportedly the younger brother of late.
Ghukato Assumi (NSCN (K) chief secretary) who was shot dead in Zunheboto town on February, 2012. No further details could be ascertained till the time of filing the report.
