AR free medical camp

Troops of 31 Assam Rifles under the aegis of 7 Sector Assam Rifles and IGAR (N) organized a free medical check-up camp for the poor and needy children of St. Johns orphanage, Longleng.

The medical officer along with supporting staff screened all children for basic ailments and also administered de-worming tablets and syrups.

Some medicines were also distributed to children who were found with basic ailments. The children and staff present were also educated about the preventive measures against common cold and ear infection. Meanwhile, the Village Council and teaching staff thanked Assam Rifles for the goodwill gesture by organising such an activity in remote and neglected area of the district.
