June 18, 2013 | by admin

All Nagaland College Students’ Union (ANCSU) has decided to suspend the proposed June 19 agitation in view of the positive assurance given by the Nagaland University authority on June 18.

ANCSU, president, Vilhousielie Sielie and general secretary, Kivikho K. Yeputhomi in a press release stated that the agitation was called off following the assurance given by vice chancellor and controller of examination (CoE) Nagaland University to declare B. Com and B. Sc results by June 20, while BA result would be declared within 10 days.

Even as the University authorities have failed to uphold the UGC norms, ANCSU said it had accepted the request of the of the VC and CoE to keep the proposed agitation in abeyance on the condition that the result would not declared without any errors.

ANCSU further reminded the NU authorities to avoid delaying the declaration of the undergraduate results so that the career and future of the student community is not hampered.
