Behati Prinsloo says she’s yet to discuss wedding plans with Adam Levine

Their engagement came as quite the surprise considering the fact that it was not even known that Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo had rekindled their relationship.

But while popping the question may have been a quick decision on the Maroon 5 frontman’s part, the couple doesn’t appear to be in any rush to make it down the aisle.

Behati, 24, revealed that they haven’t even discussed wedding plans yet, as she made her first public appearance since becoming an engaged woman.

‘I’m so laid back – my mind has been going but we haven’t talked about anything!’ she confessed to Us Weekly at the launch of the new Victoria’s Secret fragrance in New York on Thursday.

She added: ‘We’re just so excited in this moment! I’m like, “Yikes!”’ But that’s not to say the Namibian born beauty hasn’t been thinking about her big day, and wants to make sure all her nearest and dearest are there to watch her exchange vows with her beau.

‘I want all of our friends and family there, so however big that is going to be …  It hasn’t even sunk in yet!’ she gushed.

The model couldn’t stop admiring her new engagement ring when she was spotted on Wednesday and admitted she is not ‘at all’ used to the diamond sparkler.

‘I forgot I slept with [the ring] on last night, and I woke up and went, “Oh, hello!”’ she said, adding that she had no say in the rock and ‘it was a surprise’.

Adam, 34, certainly has good taste and picked out a large vintage gem from the 1930s for his lady love, who he began dating on and off in May 2012.

The proposal came after Adam was recently seen on holiday with Sports Illustrated beauty Nina Agdal following his split from Behati shortly after the New Year.

Behati previously told ET Canada that Adam got down on bended knee when he proposed and added: ‘It was serious, it was very old school.’

The Angel is the new face of the lingerie giant’s fragrance Victoria and looked lovely at the launch in a black and white tulip dress with sheer neckline, which was adorned with red and pink flower details.

Behati also had her golden blonde locks tied into a messy bun and completed her look with lots of red lipstick.
